Dimension4Theatre presenteert de monoloog Sneaking in, Somehow op het Black Magic Woman Festival.
Een combinatie van live muziek, videokunst en storytelling.

Actrice Alejandra Nettel speelt de illegale immigrant Lucia. De reis leidt haar van een prille jeugd in Mexico City door de uitgestrekte leegte van de woestijn, naar de desillusie van L.A.

De toneeltekst Sneaking In, Somehow, geschreven door de Israëlische schrijfster en dramaturg Maya van den Heuvel-Arad, had een succesvolle lezing in Parijs afgelopen juni en wordt in juli gespeeld in het LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, New York. Het stuk prijkte tevens op de shortlist van de Ierse Fish Short Story Prize 2010. De Colombiaan Diego Nicolás Rodríguez schreef de muziek speciaal voor deze voorstelling en zal deze live opvoeren en  Christian Chierego uit Chili heeft een uitsteken videokunst gemaakt.

El Coyote, the border crossing guide, is a rude man with a moustache that tickles his upper lip. He looks at me like a hungry wolf at the sight of a dead sheep and says: Starting this moment I'm the closest thing to a father you have.

The migration dream is nothing like it seems from the other side of the border.

Actress Alejandra Nettel will play the character of illegal immigrant Lucia.
One woman tells the story of millions; the journey of a woman through the desert.

The play Sneaking In, Somehow, written by Israeli Maya van den Heuvel-Arad, experienced a successful reading in Paris this June and will be staged in the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center in New York this summer. The play was shortlisted for the Irish Fish Short Story Prize 2010. The music for the Amsterdam performances was especially composed by Colombian Diego Nicolás Rodríguez who will also perform it live on stage and with the video artist Christian Chierego from Chile.
